Terms of Service

These terms cover Shaberu, made by Magic Park Labs LLC. Using the app means accepting them.

The free plan includes 5,000 words of finished text a month, measured per character for Chinese and per word for English, resetting on the first of each calendar month (UTC). No payment details are required for it.

Pro is a subscription that renews automatically until you cancel, at the price and interval shown at checkout. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves Pro active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Pro is described as unlimited under fair use: there is a ceiling set far above any human rate of speech, to stop an automated client running up costs, and if you ever meet it we would rather hear from you than cut you off.

Refunds. Email us within 14 days of a charge and we will refund it, no reason needed. After that, get in touch anyway — if Shaberu was not doing what it says here, we will make it right.

Your text is yours. We claim no rights over what you dictate. We do not use it to train anything.

What is asked of you. Do not use Shaberu to break the law, and do not resell or automate access to it — the plans are priced for a person speaking, not a pipeline. Accounts doing the latter may be limited or closed, with a refund of the unused period.

The service can change. Recognition and polish are provided by third-party models that we may swap for better ones; that is the point of the design, and quality is expected to improve rather than degrade. If we ever discontinue Shaberu we will say so with reasonable notice and refund any unused subscription time.

Availability. Shaberu needs a network connection and depends on services we do not run. It is provided as-is, with no warranty; to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months.
